Brief

• To position PYV Ltd as the leading provider of broking advice and services to the legal profession
• To position the director of business development as an expert on professional indemnity, particularly legal professional indemnity following the closure of the Solicitor’s Indemnity Fund, the former indemnity fund for all lawyers

Activities

• Highly targeted campaign increasing the legal professions’ knowledge of professional indemnity insurance and the factors that influence their premiums, for example, the level of risk management within a firm
• Ghost writing articles advising on how to keep indemnity premiums down
• Management of PYV’s relationship with the Law Society and its sponsorship of the Law Society Gazette’s Centenary Awards

Results

• Achieved a significantly higher presence in the media than in previous years.
• Client reported increased name recognition and the financial target for the professional indemnity season was reached
